The Life I Never Imagined...
When I got to that point of utter defeat which leads to surrender we start this journey called recovery. When all of us can look behind us and see the devastation of our self centered existence we can then start the work of change. Since I am a rebuild and not a retread (for my core was useless) I look to want what you have.
I don't want to be "Scared Into Action" nor do I want a "Fearful Vision For Me" I want the joyous life promised to me by working The Spiritual Solution of the 12 steps.
How do we meet the challenges of each day, of people in our lives who we may have harmed or are in ways sick as we once were. I want to know how you recover. For the promise is...I will recover from a seemingly hopeless state of mind body and spirit.
Share with me your experience of triumph in recovery from challenges such as work, relationships, etc. We all know we have come from the same place but now we are on a journey to a new existence. One that is better than what we came from but still filled with detours, distractions and sometimes drama. Today we get to choose our paths.
